Founded in 1976, Centaur Records has been dedicated to releasing the finest classical music recordings for the better part of five decades.
Our Mission
At Centaur Records, our mission is to release the finest classical music recordings, spanning all periods; from medieval and renaissance, to Baroque, to the classical and romantic periods, to contemporary music. This encompasses solo, chamber music, and orchestral ensembles. We also release select recordings of acoustic jazz.
Our Artists
Our roster of artists includes some of the most talented and innovative musicians performing today. They are based all over the world, including many musicians based in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and the Far East.
